SD
Cards
The CC Witness
has two gigabytes of available memory built into it
already. However, if you need additional memory space, or
you would just like to store your files on an
external memory card for organizational purposes, you'll be
glad to know that the CC Witness is capable of storing data
onto any SD memory card. Including SDHC
cards.
To ensure compatibility with your SD
card, we recommend that you update
your CC Witness to the latest firmware
upgrade.
How to record audio directly to your SD
card:
Once you've inserted an SD card into the
SD card slot on the left side of the CC Witness, turn
your CC Witness on, and press the "MENU" button. Next, select
"Files". Then go ahead and press the button that says "INT/SD
A< >B". This button is located on the lower-right side
of the play button. You'll see a small icon appear in the
top-left corner of the display.
Now just go
ahead and record your desired audio as you normally
would.
How to copy
previously-recorded files to your SD
card:
Once you've inserted an SD card into the
SD card slot on the left side of the CC Witness, turn
your CC Witness on, and press the "MENU" button. Next, select
"Files". Then navigate to the file you would like to
copy. Once you have the file highlighted, press the
"EDIT" button. Select "Copy File(s)". You will be presented
with the choice to either copy just that particular file, or
to copy all of the files in that folder. Decide
and select the appropriate option. Next, you will be
prompted to choose where on the SD card you would like the
file to be stored. Decide which folder to save it to,
and press select. Remember what you chose so
you can easily find it later.
