How to Lock and Unlock Files
The CC Witness offers
the capability to lock and unlock files. Locking a file
offers extra protection against mishaps like
accidentally erasing or dividing a file. Locking and
unlocking your favorite files is easy, and is the best way to
be sure your files are safe from accidental
changes.
To lock a file, begin by highlighting
the file without actually selecting it. (If you
accidently press select, the file will start playing,
so just pause it, and hit the back button once) You
should see the desired file highlighted on a list with
the folder name at the top.
Next,
just press the right arrow button (just to the right of the
Play button) for about two seconds. You will see the
display say "File Locked".
To
unlock a file, just press the left arrow button (just to the
left of the Play button) for about two seconds. You will
see the display say "File Unlocked".
